Act Hollywood Theatre of Arts offers international students three year
F-1 student visas and maximum of two-year work permits, compared to many other schools that only offer three-month work permits.
After nine months at the school, international students with an overall grade of ‘C’ or higher are eligible to apply for work permits.
All students must have good English conversation skills. If a phone interview is not possible, then students must have a minimum TOEFL score of 499.

1. Provide 2 letters of recommendation.
2. Provide a copy of your high school diploma (or its equivalent) or College transcripts.
3. Write a 2-page personal essay (type written and double spaced) and submit it along with your completed application form.
4. Pay the $100 non-refundable application fee.
5. Financial Statement (page four of application)
6. Bank statement (must prove the balance is more than $16,990 and must be within 3 months)
7. Copy of your valid passport (must show government stamp and photo)
Once your completed application is submitted you will be scheduled for a private audition. The audition will consist of one 2 to 5 minute monologue.
If applicant is admitted, I-20 and instructions are issued.
